When a hippie designer went from designer to designer – and back again – on the rise

A fashion designer who started as a designer and ended up a fashion brand has revealed the biggest changes she made to her career from designer-to-fashion designer.

“It was a great feeling when I was designing a fashion label in the early 1990s, because I didn’t think it was going to be easy, and I was a little bit naive,” she says.

“I didn’t have any idea how difficult it would be to be the creative director of a fashion house, and to be a fashion designer was just a really challenging thing to do.”

‘My goal was to be like everybody else’ She worked as a dressmaker and designer on her wedding gowns, and in 1997, when she started the fashion house that became Lush, she decided to take a creative hiatus from the design field.

“A couple of years later, I was working in the same office, and the manager asked me to go out to the garden and see what I could do for the garden,” she recalls.

“So I said, ‘OK, let’s do something together.

Let’s take a day to think about this.

Let us talk about it.'”

It was around that time that she started her own brand, Lush.

Lush is now one of the largest fashion houses in the world, with more than 30 brands and more than 500 stores in 60 countries.

“My goal at the time was to have the same goal as everybody else,” she remembers.

I was also designing for people.” “

But I wasn’t just designing dresses for a living.

I was also designing for people.”

The experience was a lot of fun, and she says it was very liberating to take on the responsibilities of being the creative team, rather than the one person who designed the clothes.

“If I’d had that time when I started Lush and had the opportunity to make that first fashion collection, I would have loved it.” “

She says the biggest change was that she now had a bigger creative team to work with. “

She says the biggest change was that she now had a bigger creative team to work with.

“The first five years were a little difficult,” she admits.

“One thing I learned, I’m not sure if I can say now, was that you have to be flexible.

If you’re not flexible, you’ll end up making your designs, and you’ll never have the chance to make them.

And that’s something that I had to learn from my team, and learn from the designers who came before me.”

The challenge in the business Today, LUSH is one of Lush’s biggest brands, with stores in over 70 countries and around 2.5 million pairs of Lushes.

She has a new book coming out, titled Fashion, Design, and Designers: The Story of LUSH, and says the process has been “a great experience”.

“I’m very happy to be where I am, because now I have a lot more responsibility, and a lot less flexibility,” she said.

“When I’m in my own space, I can take control, and be able make decisions.

But when I’m out in public, I need to make sure that I’m doing the right things.

I’m also very much a team person, because if I have to say something, I say it with all the team members involved.”

‘I can’t really tell you what I did to change’ She says she had to change some of her patterns when she first started.

“We’ve always had a very specific vision of what we want the brand to be.

It’s really important for us to always be very clear on what we’re doing and what we think we’re achieving, because that helps you to know exactly what you’re doing,” she explains.

“So we had this logo that was really simple. “

Then, the next thing that came out of that, was my idea of the logo.”

“So we had this logo that was really simple.

It was an old design.

“Because I thought that if I could just be a little bolder, and maybe use something more bold than my shirt, and my pants, and everything else, it would give me more control.” “

But, she admits, the final design, the logo, was not very different”
